Christina started her first year with no financial backing, but she was fortunate to be selected to receive a Moshal Scholarship. She learned many important life skills from attending the Moshal seminars and at the end of her degree she was hired by Intel, where she hopes to rise through the company hierarchy and fulfil her potential.
“I believe that we have all the tools that we need to succeed in life, and if we believe in ourselves then others will believe in us, because success is our only option. It is also important for those on the path to success to help others who are just starting out. That is why I am helping one of my siblings by paying their tuition fees, just as Moshal helped me.”
Christina and two of her student friends decided to start a new science program at several high schools in their home town of Nazareth. They go to each school and give lectures on new areas of science, in order to help the young students to choose what university courses to apply for.
“I believe wholeheartedly in the Moshal mantra of paying it forward, and I will continue to support my family and my community in any way that I can”, says Christina.
